Programs & Services
Act of Love Adoptions
Licensed in 1998, Act of Love is a domestic infant adoption program serving the needs of birth and adoptive parents.
Connecting Families
Our Connecting Families program is dedicated to providing supportive services to families who are struggling with challenges that can put children and the integrity of the family at risk. Connecting Families is there to provide support and education to parents who are not eligible for DCF funding and is funded solely through grants and donations. We help empower families to get through tough times and avert more serious crises like child neglect or even abuse. Our services connect the family with resources and new skills to keep the family together while keeping children safe.
Family Counseling Centers
Through Family Counseling Centers (FCC), mental health evaluation and treatment (individual, group and family counseling and psychological testing) is provided through a statewide network of licensed outpatient clinics. Services are provided in families' homes, in schools and other community settings, and in our clinic offices. The Centers offer special expertise in child psychiatry, medication evaluations and treating children and families who have suffered from multiple traumas.
The Cape Cod office has a specialized team of clinicians that make up the Child and Adolescent Trauma Treatment Program. This team of clinicians and supervisors specialize in the treatment of complex PTSD and related symptoms of children and their families who have experienced acute or multiple traumas in their life.
MSPCC continues to offer specialized clinical services for troubled youth with disruptive/oppositional behaviors who are also involved in the court system including the diversion program, probation and DYS (Department of Youth Services).
Community Support Programs (CSP) are available through insurance for case workers to provide family support, case management and in-home parent education services to families with children and adolescents.
Family Networks Services include a variety of programs to work with parents involved with the Department of Children and Families (DCF) care for their children safely in their own homes. Services include home visiting, parent support and education, and comprehensive family support and stabilization services.
