Why give to MSPCC?

For more than 135 years, MSPCC has been dedicated to ensuring the health and safety of children through direct services to children and families, and public advocacy on their behalf. The world has changed considerably during our long history; yet children always remain in need of loving parents to raise them and caring communities to protect them.

Today, far too many children in Massachusetts face tremendous adversity from their first breath. That is why MSPCC partners with parents and care-givers and engages with communities and policy makers to ensure every child has a safe and healthy childhood within the nurturing family he or she deserves.

What Your Support Means

Last year, our donors played an integral role in allowing us to serve more than 22,000 children and families across the state. Yet, with growing demand for MSPCC's services, the generous support of donors is more important than ever to reach everyone who needs our support. A mere 2% of our income goes toward fundraising costs, which means a donation to MSPCC is used wisely and makes a real difference where it is most needed.

  • $100 can provide a familiy with parenting support and education classes.
  • $2,500 can sponsor two children to attend an after-school program for one school year.
  • $10,000 can fund a parent/child support group for ten families.
