Rodman Ride for Kids
MSPCC is a proud partner of New England's largest charitable fundraiser for at-risk children, the Rodman Ride for Kids. Every dollar raised by the Rodman Ride will help MSPCC make a real and lasting difference for children across the state.
Information about the Ride
WHAT The Rodman Ride for Kids is a 25, 50, or 100-mile bike ride through Southeastern Massachusetts that benefits children's organizations throughout the state, including MSPCC. It is a fun bike through flat back roads, not a race. All of the costs of the event are sponsored, so 100% of the money raised benefits MSPCC's vital work.
WHERE All rides begin and end off Route 1 in Foxboro.
HOW IT WORKS MSPCC recruits a team of cyclists to take part and help raise funds. Our staff will work with each member of the team at every step to help coordinate training events, set and achieve realistic fundraising goals and generate corporate sponsorship.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE It's open to people of all cycling abilities from novices to experienced riders. All riders must be at least 12 years old and accompanied by an adult if under 18. Some advance training is recommended. You will need your own helmet and road-worthy bike for the day. We welcome riders of all fundraising capacities. We ask only that riders be willing to seek sponsorship for their ride and work with MSPCC staff to reach an achievable goal.
