MSPCC in Western Massachusetts

MSPCC offers a range of programs and services to strengthen and support children and families throughout Western Massachusetts. Last year alone, more than 4,700 infants, children, teenagers, parents and care-givers benefitted from our work in the region.
Our services are designed to respond to the unique needs and circumstances of each family and they are delivered by a diverse, dedicated and experienced staff. In addition to our local office in Holyoke, many of our services are now home-based, making it easier and more comfortable for the families we serve.
Services Currently Available in the Area
MSPCC helps families dealing with challenging emotional and behavioral problems, such as depression, anxiety, behavioral problems in the home or at school and problems associated with experiences of trauma, abuse or neglect. MSPCC is a licensed provider of individual, group and family counseling with specific training and experience in helping victims of trauma.

MSPCC's Early Intervention services are focused on improving the health and well-being of very young children from birth to three years old with, or at risk of, developmental delays due to biological, medical or environmental factors. Services are home and community-based.

MSPCC is committed to supporting parents in the joyous, but challenging, work of raising children. Our services help parents develop the skills to be more confident and successful as parents, as well as help them access the information and resources they need for their families' well-being. We offer specific support for pregnant and parenting teens as well.

MSPCC provides training and support for foster, pre-adoptive, and kinship parents (e.g. grandparents) and guardians, so they can meet the special needs of the abused and neglected children put in their care.
