DESCRIPTION:Twelve IECMH previouslyselected professionals \,from the September 20th Tenets Experiential Workshop\, to participate in ongoing assistance with the implementation of Diversity-Informed Reflective Supervision in their work for 10 months\, from September 2024 to May 2025. \nThe Diversity-Informed Tenets are a set of guiding principles that raise awareness of inequities and injustices by empowering individuals\, agencies\, and systems of care to identify and address social justice issues intricately intertwined with mental health\, child welfare\, medicine\, and other public\, faith-based and governmental agencies. In this workshop\, the Tenets are applied to the specific context of reflective supervision \n  \nConnecting Communities: Support for the MA Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health grant funding from MA Executive Office of Health and Human Services.

DESCRIPTION:OUR 2024-2025 Reflective Consultation Groups ARE ALREADY IN PROGRESS.\nPlease email us at maiecmhtrainingcalendar@mspcc.org to be informed of future opportunities to participate in these offerings.\n  \nMSPCC is proud to continue the offering of a 10-month web-based\, Reflective Consultation series with a MassAIMH Endorsed® professional. This offering is in service of building equitable access for Reflective Supervision/Consultation for the infant and early childhood workforce who work directly with or on behalf of families and their young children.  \n  \nReflective Supervision/ Consultation  is a form of ongoing professional development that supports professionals in their ability to understand\, make meaning of and manage the intense situations and emotions experienced in their work. It provides a relational space to offer nurturing to those who nurture others. It is considered best practice in the infant and early childhood field for direct workforce\, supervisors and systems leaders and is proven to reduce burnout\, vicarious trauma\, increase job satisfaction\, and help professionals to assess and improve their own practice. \n  \nReflective Consultation Group Sessions: What to Know \n\nSessions are at no cost to professionals and are funded by grants\nRC Group sessions are a 10 month commitment from September to June\nRC groups are multidisciplinary groups\nSessions are virtual\, meeting twice a month (20 total sessions)\nSessions’ duration is 90 minutes (totaling 30 RC hours)\nRC hours support the requirement for MassAIMH Endorsement®\nEach group is facilitated by a MassAIMH Endorsed® professional\nRC groups are for frontline professionals\, supervisors\, program administrators\, policy and systems leaders\nGroup facilitators and the respective participants collectively decide meeting dates and times at the first group session

DESCRIPTION:NO LONGER ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS \nA 7.5 hour virtual training for 35 Massachusetts supervisors and emerging supervisors in the infant and early childhood field. \nThe Diversity-Informed Tenets are a set of guiding principles raising awareness of inequities and injustices by empowering individuals\, agencies\, and systems of care to identify and address social justice issues intricately intertwined with mental health\, child welfare\, medicine\, and other public\, faith-based and governmental agencies. \nIn this workshop\, the Tenets are applied to the specific context of reflective supervision. Key concepts of reflective supervision will be framed\, and the Tenets introduced. Tools and strategies for bringing the Tenets into supervision will be introduced and practiced. Participants will engage in facilitated role-play designed to promote greater comfort addressing issues related to implicit bias\, intersectionality\, and the “isms\,” from the position of both supervisor and supervisee. \nFunded by a grant from the MA Executive Office of Health and Human Services \n
