Meet Our Board

Charles V. Senatore, Chairperson 

Principal, Senatore Advisory

Chuck is Principal of Senatore Solutions serving as a strategic advisor to early stage Fintech and Regtech financial services companies, and serves on the board of Fidelity Digital Asset Services LLC.  Chuck also serves on the board of Eliot Community Human Services.  He is also a Lecturer in Law at The University of Chicago Law School.  Previously, Chuck served on the management committee of Fidelity Investments’ Devonshire Investors unit, as well as having led Fidelity’s global compliance program.  Chuck holds a BA in Economics from Williams College and received his JD from the University of Chicago Law School. Mr. Senatore joined the MSPCC Board in 2013 and was named Chairperson in 2017. 

 

Kevin Cronin

President and CEO, MUFG Americas Holding Corporation and MUFG Union Bank, N.A.
Kevin is President and CEO of MUFG Americas Holdings Corporation and MUFG Union Bank, N.A. He is also CEO for the Americas and Regional Executive for MUFG and MUFG Bank, Ltd., with oversight of control functions in Latin America, Canada, and the United States.  Prior to joining MUFG in 2011, Kevin spent more than 20 years at Bank of America and its predecessor firms, where he held senior roles leading U.S. corporate banking, transaction banking, and loan syndications.  Kevin holds an MBA from Babson College and a BS in Business Administration from Boston University.

 

Ann Duffy

Independent Advisor

Prior to her retirement in 2021, Ann was Credit Officer and Assistant Vice President with Reading Cooperative Bank.  She is a graduate of Fitchburg State University and also serves as Treasurer for the Eliot Community Human Services Board of Directors.
 
 

Alexys Febonio

Wealth Planner, Ballentine Partners

Alexys Febonio is a Wealth Planner at Ballentine Partners, a wealth management firm, where she assists multi-generational families with all components of their wealth. In particular, she enjoys helping families align their wealth with their values, goals, and impact areas that matter most to them. Prior to joining Ballentine in 2021, Alexys was an Associate in the Deals practice at PwC where she focused on Valuation. Alexys remains deeply involved with her Alma Mater, the University of New Hampshire, through her membership on the Executive Advisory Board of the Peter T. Paul College of Business and Economics. 

 

Kristin Francisco

Assurance Leader for the Northeast Market, PwC

Kristin is the Assurance Leader for the Northeast Market of PwC and has over 25 years of serving private equity funds and private equity fund-of-funds, hedge funds, offshore funds, and registered investment companies.

Kristin has led the Firm’s Asset Management Learning and Education Programs, which included developing and teaching numerous industry specific courses to our managers, seniors and associates. Until 2014, Kristin also led the Northeast Women’s Partner Group at PwC where she oversaw programs and activities aimed at attracting, retaining, and empowering future women leaders within the firm. Kristin was also one of the 2011 recipients of the Massachusetts Society of CPAs Women to Watch award for making significant contributions to the accounting profession, the community, and for demonstrating characteristics that enable women to become leaders in the profession. Kristin graduated from Boston College with a B.S. in accounting and is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.

 

Jennifer Greif Green, PhD

 Associate Professor, Wheelock College of Education & Human Development, Boston University

Jen is an Associate Professor in the Wheelock College of Education & Human Development at Boston University and a child clinical psychologist. Her research focuses on supporting student social and emotional wellbeing in schools. In particular, she studies how teachers are partners in supporting the wellbeing of youth and the role that schools can play in decreasing racial/ethnic disparities in mental health service access.

 

Dr. Reverend Gregory Groover, Sr.

Pastor, The Historic Charles Street A.M.E. Church

Reverend Groover was appointed Pastor of the Historic Charles Street A.M.E. church in 1994.  Previously, he served as pastor of Bright Temple A.M.E. Church in the South Bronx, and as an adjunct faculty member at the College of New Rochelle and New York Theological Seminary.  A committed community advocate, Reverend Groover is involved in numerous efforts to support children and families in Boston and has served two terms on the Boston School Committee, including four years as its chairperson.  Additionally , he currently serves on the Board of Directors of The Boston Foundation.  He is a graduate of Morehouse College, received an M.Div. from Union Theological Seminary and an M.S.W. Columbia University School of Social Work, and completed his doctoral work (D.Min.) at the New York Theological Seminary.  Reverend Groover also chairs MSPCC’s Advocacy Committee.

 

Lawrence Hamelsky

Managing Director, Berkshire Partners

Larry joined Berkshire Partners in 1994 and became a Managing Director in 2006.  Prior to joining Berkshire, Larry worked as a consultant at Boston Consulting Group and as a financial analyst at Bowles, Hollowell, Conner & Co.  He is a graduate of Duke University and holds an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. 

 

Susan Levine

Managing Director, Head of North American Private Equity HR & Talent Development, Bain Capital

Susan joined Bain Capital Private Equity in 2006. She is a Managing Director and Head of North America Private Equity HR & Talent Development. Prior to joining Bain Capital Private Equity, Susan worked at Bain & Company on the consulting side and also served as Director of North America Marketing and Client Development. Previously, she worked in the global consulting practice of Barents Group. Susan received an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MA from the University of Pennsylvania and a BS in Spanish/International Affairs from Georgetown University.

 

Paul Litchfield

Founder, Litchfield Financial & Litchfield Development

Paul owns a successful wealth management practice providing investment advisory services to individuals and businesses across the United States. In 2020 he was named Top 100 People in Finance and honored as a Five Star Wealth Manager. Paul also owns a real estate company where he focuses on development opportunities and provides real estate agency services. Before building up his investment companies Paul practiced as a CPA. Paul graduated summa cum laude as a Commonwealth Honors Scholar from UMass Lowell and holds an M.B.A. from UMass Lowell as well. 

 

Lauren Mazzone

Principal, Deals Transformation – Human Capital, PwC

Lauren is a Principal in PwC’s Deals Transformation Human Capital practice, focused on supporting private equity and corporate clients with HR M&A activities. Lauren graduated from Bentley University with a B.S. in mathematical sciences, and she completed her MBA at Bentley University as well. Lauren is an Associate of the Society of Actuaries.

 

Jennifer Miller

Independent Advisor

Prior to her retirement in 2020, Jennifer was Chief Business Sustainability Officer for Sappi Paper – North America.  At Sappi, Jennifer was responsible for identifying growth opportunities through expansion into current and adjacent businesses as well as sustainability leadership.  Before joining Sappi, Jennifer served as Vice President of Rates and General Counsel for Boston Gas. She has a BA from the University of Washington and a JD from Cornell Law School.  Jennifer also serves on the Board of Directors for Eliot Community Human Services. 

 

Gary Prado

Senior Legal Counsel, Fidelity Investments

Gary is Senior Legal Counsel at Fidelity Investments, where he serves as chief counsel to Fidelity’s private equity business, Devonshire Investors. Prior to Fidelity Investments, Gary was an associate at Ropes & Gray, practicing in its private equity transactions group, where he represented private equity firms and public and private companies in leveraged buyouts, direct investments, and other strategic transactions. Before that, Gary clerked for Chief Justice Paul A. Suttell of the Supreme Court of Rhode Island and Judge Joseph A. Greenaway, Jr., of the Third Circuit Court of Federal Appeals.  He is an active supporter of many Boston-area civic and charitable organizations that provide opportunities for underprivileged children, and sits on Boards of The Conservatory Lab Charter School, The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, The Friends of the Rafael Hernandez School and the Pipeline to Practice Foundation. Gary earned his BS and MBA from UMass Dartmouth and his JD from Suffolk University Law School.

 

Reetika Vijay

Managing Principal, IA Interior Architects

Reetika Vijay is the Managing Principal for IA Interior Architects’ Boston office as well as an Executive Committee member to IA’s global footprint. She was named Boston Real Estate Time’s 2019 Top 10 Most Influential Women and India New England’s Outstanding Women of 2020. She brings 30 years of experience playing a leading role in strategic planning, managing, designing, administering, and negotiating a wide variety of project types. Reetika and her team are responsible for the design of millions of square feet of workplace that has impacted and improved thousands of lives. Reetika has been instrumental in developing IA’s philanthropic mission. She is the founder and executive sponsor of IAReach, a firmwide program that supports local and global charitable initiatives throughout IA’s global footprint.

Stephen G. Pagliuca

Co-Chairman, Bain Capital; Managing General Partner & Co-Owner, Boston Celtics

Steve is Co-Chair of Bain Capital and serves as the global head of Bain Capital Private Equity’s technology, media, and telecommunications vertical and financial services vertical.  Steve is also the Managing General Partner and co-owner of the Boston Celtics, President of the Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation, and serves on the Board of Bain Capital Children’s Charity.  He received a B.A. from Duke University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.  Steve served on the MSPCC Board from 1999 to 2017, and led the board for 14 years as Chair.  He was named MSPCC’s first Board Emeritus in 2017.
