Celebrating Endorsement Across Massachusetts

We are excited that more than 200 Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health (IECMH) professionals have now received the Massachusetts Association for Infant Mental Health (MassAIMH) Endorsement®, an international credential that provides recognition of specialized knowledge and expertise for professionals working with or on behalf of families with infants and young children (birth-6). These professionals represent a diversity of disciplines, geographic regions within the state, races, ethnicities, genders and socioeconomic statuses.

In order to receive the credential, each professional demonstrates that they have attained specific skill sets and experience relevant to their work, engages in ongoing competency-based trainings, and receives ongoing reflective supervision and consultation. For the past four years, MSPCC and MassAIMH have been in a formal partnership to strengthen, diversify and expand the infant and early childhood workforce infrastructure across the state. The Endorsement® credential plays a pivotal role in advancing the crucial field of infant and early childhood mental health. It serves as a benchmark, ensuring that professionals possess the requisite knowledge, skills, and experiences to foster the healthy socio-emotional development and well-being of society’s youngest members.
