About MSPCC – Long
As a Board Member for the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC), I am incredibly proud to share the incredible work this organization does every day. MSPCC was founded in 1878, and since then, it has consistently been at the forefront of protecting and promoting the well-being of children and families across Massachusetts.
What truly sets MSPCC apart is the organization’s dual focus on direct service delivery and policy advocacy. Through its policy initiatives, MSPCC ensures that the policies and practices that inform its services come from research and evidence that they are effective for all kids. MSPCC works with one child, one family at a time, and strives to advance its mission through advocacy, because all kids deserve a bright future.

Advocacy – General
As an MSPCC board member, I see how our direct services inform our fight for kids. We work to shape public policy around critical issues: children’s mental health, foster care stability, and perinatal support. Real change starts at the structural level. Join us in advocating for the support and funding vulnerable families deserve.

Advocacy – Action Alerts
As a member of MSPCC’s Board of Advisors, I’m proud of our work advocating for foster care support and children’s behavioral health, but we can’t do it alone. Lawmakers need to hear from you. Sign up for MSPCC’s Action Alerts to easily contact your legislators and help protect MA kids.
