Jaime Caron, LICSW, is the Regional Director of DCF Central Massachusetts. The Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF) works in partnership with families and communities to keep children safe from abuse and neglect.
Encompass Leadership Team
The Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (MSPCC) is the lead agency among a select group of state and community stakeholders working together to support foster parents in ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children in foster care through our newest program, Encompass: Community and Collaboration for Foster Families.
Our leadership team is a diverse group of professionals and child welfare organizations committed to implementing an enhanced foster care system that engages communities, trains caregivers to minimize the impact of trauma, supports the unique role of kinship caregivers and strengthens information sharing among and between parents, foster caregivers and the Massachusetts Department of Children and Families (DCF).

Dr. Heather Forkey, MD, is the Clinical Director of The FaCES (Foster Child Evaluation Services) Clinic at UMass Memorial Children’s Medical Center, which provides accessible and comprehensive health care for children in foster placement in a child-centered and trauma-informed way. |
Kathy Savage Mills, PhD, LICSW, is the Vice President for Programs at The Health Foundation of Central Massachusetts, a conversion foundation created in 1999 to improve the health of those who live or work in Central Massachusetts, with an emphasis on vulnerable populations, unmet needs, and social determinants of health. |
